 USCA RACING

USCA is the recognized U.S. jurisdictional authority for competition in open cruising or pleasure type canoes. USCA has formulated rules governing dimensions and limits controlling stability for cruising canoes and regulations governing the conduct of competition, classification of competitors,

and safety. Long distance races are held for men, women, juniors, mixed teams and shorter races for youth. State, divisional and national championship races are held on waters ranging from flat Class I to Class II river rating, with straight forward rapids and wide, clear channels according to the International Scale of River Difficulty. USCA National Marathon/Sprint Canoe and Kayak Championships are held annually in July for all ages.
